In early February, Randy and I had a wonderful trip to Cancun, Mexico. In the past, I have avoided Cancun as such a crazy-busy party spot-which it is-but we had a great time anyway. There is lots to do besides bars and shopping. The colours of the sea and flora alone are enough to lift the spirits of many northerners,including myself. The Caribbean is so perfectly blue-green soothing!
We stayed at a quaint little 3-star property with beach view and surf sound. There were coconut trees outside the patio-next to sugar maples, they might be my favourite tree. Local buses are cheap and very user-friendly- for $.50 you can get to lots of places. Follow along for few entries to hear about trip highlights and armchair travel with Sandra. TTFN
